Hadith 879
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ ، أَنَّهُ : " رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَسْتَسْقِي عِنْدَ أَحْجَارِ الزَّيْتِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الزَّوْرَاءِ ، قَائِمًا يَدْعُو يَسْتَسْقِي ، رَافِعًا كَفَّيْهِ لا يُجَاوِزُ بِهِمَا رَأْسَهُ ، مُقْبِلا بِبَاطِنِ كَفِّهِ إِلَى وَجْهِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) near "Ajaarziyat," which is close to "Zawraa." I saw him standing and supplicating for rain. He had raised both his palms, but he had not lifted them above his head. He had turned the palms towards his face.
