Hadith 878
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ ، وَعُمَرُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ عُمَيْرٍ مَوْلَى آبِي اللَّحْمِ ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عِنْدَ أَحْجَارِ الزَّيْتِ قَرِيبًا مِنَ الزَّوْرَاءِ يَدْعُو رَافِعًا كَفَّيْهِ قِبَلَ وَجْهِهِ لا يُجَاوِزُ بِهِمَا رَأْسَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) near "Ajaarziyat", which is a place close to "Zawraa". The Prophet had both his palms raised in front of his face. He did not raise them above his head.
