Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was sitting in a gathering with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). During this, a man came. He greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and also greeted those present. He said: "Peace be upon you." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "And peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings." The man sat down and said: "All praise is due to Allah, praise that is abundant, pure, and blessed, which our Lord loves." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked that man: "What words did you say?" He repeated these words before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose hand is my soul, twelve angels rushed towards it. Each of them wished to record it, but they did not know how to record it. They returned to Allah, so Allah said: 'Record it as My servant has said it.'" The Sheikh says: "The meaning of 'My servant has said' is in fact, I have accepted it."
