Chapter on Remembrance – On the virtue of frequently declaring one’s weakness and reliance on Allah, as it is a treasure of Paradise
Hadith 820
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ بْنِ بَرَكَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الأَوْدِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : كُنْتُ أَمْشِي خَلْفَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : " يَا أَبَا ذَرٍّ ، أَلا أَدُلُّكَ عَلَى كَنْزٍ مِنْ كُنُوزِ الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " قُلْتُ : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، فَقَالَ : " لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِاللَّهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was walking behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: O Abu Dharr! Shall I not guide you to a treasure from the treasures of Paradise? I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: «لا حول ولا قوة الا بالله» (is a treasure of Paradise).
