Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Recite (the Qur'an) to me. I said: Should I recite it to you while the Qur'an has been revealed to you? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I desire to hear it from someone else. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I began reciting Surah An-Nisa before him. When I reached this verse: "Then how will it be when We bring from every nation a witness and We bring you as a witness over all of them?" I looked towards the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and his eyes were flowing with tears.
