Hadith 717
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ الشَّدِيدُ مَنْ غَلَبَ ، إِنَّمَا الشَّدِيدُ مَنْ غَلَبَ نَفْسَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The strong one is not the one who overcomes others; the strong one is the one who controls himself at the time of anger."
