Hadith 705
أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْعَابِدُ الطَّاحِيُّ ، بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ نَصْرٍ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُقْرِئُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَانِئٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا عَلِيٍّ الْجَنْبِيَّ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ ، سَمِعَ فَضَالَةَ بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " طُوبَى لِمَنْ هُدِيَ إِلَى الإِسْلامِ ، وَكَانَ عَيْشُهُ كَفَافًا وَقَنَّعَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: He heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Glad tidings for the person who was guided to Islam, was given provisions according to his needs, and whom Allah granted contentment with what He gave him."
