Hadith 694
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَوْنٍ الرَّيَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى الأَشْعَرِيِّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا إِنَّ الدِّينَارَ وَالدِّرْهَمَ أَهْلَكَا مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمْ ، وَهُمَا مُهْلِكَاكُمْ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware! Indeed, the dirham and the dinar destroyed the people before you, and they will also destroy you."
