Hadith 684
أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمِّي ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : " مَنْ حَدَّثَكُمْ أَنَّا كُنَّا نَشْبَعُ مِنَ التَّمْرِ فَقَدْ كَذَبَكُمْ ، فَلَمَّا افْتَتَحَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قُرَيْظَةَ ، أَصَبْنَا شَيْئًا مِنَ التَّمْرِ وَالْوَدَكِ " .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Whoever tells you that we used to eat our fill of dates, he has not spoken the truth to you. When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) conquered Qurayza, we received some dates and fat.
