Hadith 678
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَيْوَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هَانِئٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْحُبُلِيَّ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ فُقَرَاءَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ يَسْبِقُونَ الأَغْنِيَاءَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِسَبْعِينَ أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ خَرِيفًا " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saying: "Indeed, the poor emigrants will enter Paradise seventy years (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these words are:) forty years before the wealthy people on the Day of Resurrection."
