Hadith 664
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السَّامِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ الْمَقَابِرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا هَبَّتِ الرِّيحُ عُرِفَ ذَلِكَ فِي وَجْهِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When a strong wind would blow, the effect of anxiety would be visible on the face of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). This was so that a person would not fall into self-conceit regarding this matter, even if that person was virtuous in himself and pious in his religion.
