Hadith 654
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَوْفٍ ، عَنْ حَكِيمٍ الأَثْرَمِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلا أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُعَلِّمَكُمْ مِمَّا عَلَّمَنِي يَوْمِي هَذَا ، وَإِنَّهُ ، قَالَ لِي : إِنِّي خَلَقْتُ عِبَادِي حُنَفَاءَ كُلَّهُمْ ، وَإِنَّ كُلَّ مَا أَنْحَلْتُ عِبَادِي فَهُوَ لَهُمْ حَلالٌ ، وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ أَتَتْهُمْ فَاجْتَالَتْهُمْ عَنْ دِينِهِمْ ، وَحَرَّمَتْ عَلَيْهِمُ الَّذِي أَحْلَلْتُ لَهُمْ ، وَأَمَرَتْهُمْ أَنْ يُشْرِكُوا بِي مَا لَمْ أُنْزِلْ بِهِ سُلْطَانًا ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَتَى أَهْلَ الأَرْضِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَبْعَثَنِي ، فَمَقَتَهُمْ عَرَبَهُمْ وَعَجَمَهُمْ إِلا بَقَايَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْكِتَابِ ، وَإِنَّهُ ، قَالَ لِي : قَدْ أَنْزَلْتُ كِتَابًا لا يَغْسِلُهُ الْمَاءُ فَاقْرَأْهُ نَائِمًا وَيَقْظَانَ ، وَإِنَّ اللَّهَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُخْبِرَ قُرَيْشًا وَإِنِّي قُلْتُ : أَيْ رَبِّ ، إِذًا يَثْلَغُوا رَأْسِي فَيَدَعُوهُ خُبْزَةً وَإِنَّهُ قَالَ لِي : اسْتَخْرِجْهُمْ كَمَا اسْتَخْرَجُوكَ ، وَاغْزُهُمْ يَسْتَغْزُونَكَ ، وَأَنْفِقْ نُنْفِقْ عَلَيْكَ ، وَابْعَثْ جَيْشًا نَبْعَثْ خَمْسَةَ أَمْثَالِهِ ، وَقَاتِلْ بِمَنْ أَطَاعَكَ مَنْ عَصَاكَ " .
Sayyiduna Iyad bin Himar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a sermon to us and said: “Indeed, Allah Almighty has commanded me to teach you today those things of knowledge which Allah has granted me. Allah Almighty said to me: I have created all My servants as Muslims, and whatever I have granted to My servants, it is lawful for them. The devils come to people and mislead them regarding their religion; they declare unlawful for them those things which I have declared lawful for them, and they command them to associate partners with Me, about which I have not sent down any command.” (The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, says:) “Before sending me as a Prophet, Allah Almighty turned His attention to the earth and expressed displeasure towards all the Arabs and all the non-Arabs, except for a few remnants among the People of the Book. Allah said to me: I have revealed a Book which water cannot wash away; recite it in both sleep and wakefulness. Allah commanded me to inform the Quraysh of this. I said: O my Lord! In that case, they will crush my head and grind it to dust. Allah Almighty said: Expel them as they expelled you, and fight them as they fought you, and spend (in My cause), We will spend on you, and send forth an army, We will send five like it, and whoever obeys you, fight alongside him against the one who disobeys you.”
