Hadith 559
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ، بِدَرْبِ الرُّومِ ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " الْبَرَكَةُ مَعَ أَكَابِرِكُمْ " قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ : لَمْ يُحَدِّثِ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ بِخُرَاسَانَ إِنَّمَا حَدَّثَ بِهِ بِدَرْبِ الرُّومِ ، فَسَمِعَ مِنْهُ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ ، وَلَيْسَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ فِي كُتُبِ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ مَرْفُوعًا .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Blessing is with your elders."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): Abdullah bin Mubarak did not narrate this hadith in Khurasan. He narrated this hadith in Darb (Rome), so the people of Sham heard this hadith from him, and this hadith is not transmitted as a marfu' hadith in the books of Ibn Mubarak.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:): Abdullah bin Mubarak did not narrate this hadith in Khurasan. He narrated this hadith in Darb (Rome), so the people of Sham heard this hadith from him, and this hadith is not transmitted as a marfu' hadith in the books of Ibn Mubarak.
