Hadith 552
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الرِّفْقَ ، وَيُعْطِي عَلَى الرِّفْقِ مَا لا يُعْطِي عَلَى الْعُنْفِ ، وَمَا لا يُعْطِي عَلَى مَا سِوَاهُ " .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty is gentle, and He gives for gentleness what He does not give for harshness, and what He does not give for anything other than gentleness."
