Hadith 513
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا طَبَخْتَ قِدْرًا ، فَأَكْثِرْ مَرَقَتَهَا ، فَإِنَّهُ أَوْسَعُ لِلأَهْلِ وَالْجِيرَانِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you cook a pot of food, add more broth to it, for it will be more accommodating for your family and your neighbors."
