Chapter on Ties of Kinship and Severing Them – Good life and abundant provision for one who maintains family ties, if combined with piety.
Hadith 439
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ نَاجِيَةَ بِحَرَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ يُونُسَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يُبْسَطَ لَهُ فِي رِزْقِهِ ، وَيُنْسَأَ لَهُ فِي أَجَلِهِ ، فَلْيَتَّقِ اللَّهَ ، وَلْيَصِلْ رَحِمَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever likes that his provision be increased and his life be prolonged, he should fear Allah and maintain the ties of kinship.
