باب حق الوالدين - ذكر استحباب المبالغة للمرء في بر والده رجاء اللحوق بالبررة فيه
Chapter on Parents’ Rights – It is recommended to excel in honoring one’s father to join the righteous.
Hadith 424
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ ، وَأَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَجْزِي وَلَدٌ وَالِدَهُ ، إِلا أَنْ يَجِدَهُ مَمْلُوكًا ، فَيَشْتَرِيَهُ فَيَعْتِقَهُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No person can repay his father, except in the situation where he finds him as a slave and buys him and sets him free."
