Hadith 411
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا بْنِ أَبِي زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مِنَ الْكَبَائِرِ أَنْ يَسُبَّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ " ، قِيلَ : وَكَيْفَ يَسُبُّ الرَّجُلُ وَالِدَيْهِ قَالَ : " يَتَعَرَّضُ لِلنَّاسِ فَيَسُبُّ وَالِدَيْهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "One of the major sins is that a person abuses his parents." It was asked: How can a person abuse his parents? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He abuses the parents of others, so they abuse his parents."
