Hadith 400
أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ سَلْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو ، يَقُولُ : إِنَّ رَجُلا ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَيُّ الْمُسْلِمِينَ خَيْرٌ ؟ قَالَ : " مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who among the Muslims is the best?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe."
