Hadith 395
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ بِالْفُسْطَاطِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي خِيَرَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : أَنَا خَيْرُ الشُّرَكَاءِ ، مَنْ عَمِلَ عَمَلا ، فَأَشْرَكَ فِيهِ غَيْرِي ، فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِئٌ ، هُوَ لِلَّذِي أَشْرَكَ بِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says: I am the most independent of all partners. Whoever does a deed and associates someone else with Me in it, I am free from that deed; it is for the one whom he associated with Me."
