Hadith 393
أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ السَّعْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ زَائِدَةَ بْنِ نَشِيطٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ الْوَالِبِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ جَلَّ وَعَلا ، يَقُولُ : يَابْنَ آدَمَ ، تَفَرَّغْ لِعِبَادَتِي أَمْلأْ صَدْرَكَ غِنًى ، وَأَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ ، وَإِنْ لا تَفْعَلْ مَلأْتُ يَدَكَ شُغْلا ، وَلَمْ أَسُدَّ فَقْرَكَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah the Exalted says: O son of Adam! Devote yourself to My worship. I will fill your chest with contentment and remove your poverty. But if you do not do so, I will fill your hands with occupations and will not remove your poverty."
