Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) mention this more than twenty times: "Dhul-Kifl was from the Children of Israel; he would not refrain from any sin. Once, he went to a woman. That woman presented herself before him. Dhul-Kifl gave her sixty dinars. When he sat near her, she began to weep and tremble. Dhul-Kifl asked: What has happened to you? She replied: By Allah! I have never done this act (sinful deed) before, and I am only doing it out of necessity. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) says: Dhul-Kifl felt remorse, and he stood up without doing anything. That very night, he died. In the morning, it was written on his door: 'Indeed, Allah the Exalted has forgiven you.'"
