Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do as much (good) deeds as you are able, for Allah’s bounty will not be cut off from you until you become weary.” Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The most beloved deed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was that which was done regularly, even if it was little. Whenever the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed any (supererogatory) prayer, he would perform it regularly. The narrator states: Allah Almighty has said: “And those who regularly perform their prayers.”
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): “Indeed, Allah does not tire until you tire.” This is among the expressions of the people’s idiom, because the meaning can only be conveyed to the addressed person in this way. Its real meaning is not intended.
