Hadith 350
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْحَجَّاجِ السَّامِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " سَدِّدُوا وَقَارِبُوا ، وَلا يُنْجِي أَحَدًا مِنْكُمْ عَمَلُهُ " قُلْنَا : وَلا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ قَالَ : " وَلا أَنَا إِلا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُ بِرَحْمَةٍ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Be upright and adopt moderation. No one's deeds will grant him salvation." We asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Not even you?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Not even me, except that Allah has enveloped me in His mercy."
