Chapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One must strive in obedience even after committing disliked acts.
Hadith 333
أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْعَطَّارُ بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ الرِّشْكُ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، أَعُلِمَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ ؟ قَالَ : " نَعَمْ " ، قِيلَ : فَمَا يَعْمَلُ الْعَامِلُونَ ؟ قَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " كُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ " .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Are the people of Paradise known (i.e., predetermined) in comparison to the people of Hell?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes." It was asked, "Then why do people who act, perform deeds?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "For every person, that thing is made easy for which he was created."
