Hadith 286
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " سَيَكُونُ مِنْ بَعْدَي أُمَرَاءُ يَغْشَاهُمْ غَوَاشٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ ، فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ ، وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ ، فَأَنَا مِنْهُ بَرِيءٌ ، وَهُوَ مِنِّي بَرِيءٌ ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ ، وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ ، فَأَنَا مِنْهُ وَهُوَ مِنِّي " .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Soon after me, there will come some rulers to whom people will go and come. So whoever affirms their lies and helps them in their oppression, I am free from him and he is free from me. And whoever does not affirm their lies and does not help them in their oppression, I am connected to him and he is connected to me."
