54 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر استحباب الاجتهاد في أنواع الطاعات في أيام العشر من ذي الحجةChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Striving in various acts of obedience during the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah is recommended.
55 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار بأن عشر ذي الحجة وشهر رمضان في الفضل يكونان سيانChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – The first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and Ramadan are equal in virtue.

58 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار بأن من تقرب إلى الله قدر شبر أو ذراع بالطاعة كانت الوسائل والمغفرة أقرب منه بباعChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Whoever draws near to Allah by a handspan or arm’s length, Allah’s mercy and forgiveness are even closer.
59 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر إطلاق اسم الخير على الأفعال الصالحة إذا كانت من غير المسلمينChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Good deeds can be called “goodness” even if done by non-Muslims.
60 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن الأعمال التي يعملها من ليس بمسلم وإن كانت أعمالا صالحة لا تنفع في العقبى من عملها في الدنياChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Good deeds by non-Muslims do not benefit them in the Hereafter.

68 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم فكل ميسر " أراد به ميسر لما قدر له في سابق علمه من خير أو شرChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – The Prophet’s saying “Everyone is facilitated” means each is enabled for what was decreed for him.
69 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من ترك الاتكال على ما يأتي من الطاعات دون الابتهال إلى الخالق جل وعلا في إصلاح أواخر أعمالهChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One must not rely on past good deeds but pray for a good end.
70 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن المرء يجب أن يعتمد من عمله على آخره دون أوائلهChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One should rely on the end of his deeds, not the beginning.
71 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار بأن من وفق للعمل الصالح قبل موته كان ممن أريد به الخيرChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Whoever is guided to good deeds before death is among those intended for good.
72 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار بأن فتح الله على المسلم العمل الصالح في آخر عمره من علامة إرادته جل وعلا له الخيرChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Allah granting a Muslim good deeds at life’s end is a sign of His favor.
73 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر البيان بأن العمل الصالح الذي يفتح للمرء قبل موته من السبب الذي يلقي الله جل وعلا محبته في قلوب أهله وجيرانه بهChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Good deeds before death cause Allah to place love for a person in the hearts of family and neighbors.
74 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من قلة القنوط إذا وردت عليه حالة الفتور في الطاعات في بعض الأحايينChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One should not despair if he experiences periods of weakness in obedience.
75 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء المسلم من ترك القنوط من رحمة الله جل وعلا مع ترك الاتكال على سعة رحمته وإن كثرت أعمالهChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – A Muslim must not despair of Allah’s mercy nor rely solely on its vastness, even with many deeds.
76 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من لزوم الرجاء وترك القنوط مع لزومه القنوط وترك الرجاءChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One must maintain hope and avoid despair, even if he struggles with both.
77 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من الثقة بالله في أحواله عند قيامه بإتيان المأمورات وانزعاجه عن جميع المزجوراتChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One must trust Allah in all states while performing obligations and avoiding prohibitions.
78 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الأمر بالتشديد في الأمور وترك الاتكال على الطاعاتChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Command to be strict in matters and not rely solely on acts of obedience.
79 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من التسديد والمقاربة في الأعمال دون الإمعان في الطاعات حتى يشار إليه بالأصابعChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – One should aim for moderation in deeds and not overdo acts of obedience to the point of notoriety.
80 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الأمر بالمقاربة في الطاعات إذ الفوز في العقبى يكون بسعة رحمة الله لا بكثرة الأعمالChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Command to be moderate in obedience, as success in the Hereafter is by Allah’s mercy, not many deeds.

82 باب ما جاء في الطاعات وثوابها - ذكر الأمر للمرء بإتيان الطاعات على الرفق من غير ترك حظ النفس فيهاChapter on Acts of Obedience and Their Rewards – Command to perform acts of obedience gently, without neglecting oneself.
