باب ما جاء في الصفات - ذكر الخبر الدال على أن هذه الأخبار أطلقت بألفاظ التمثيل والتشبيه على حسب ما يتعارفه الناس بينهم دون كيفيتها أو وجود حقائقها-

Hadith 270
أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيَمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلانَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَبِي الْحُبَابِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ أَبُو الْقَاسِمِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " مَا تَصَدَّقَ عَبْدٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ مِنْ كَسْبٍ طَيِّبٍ وَلا يَقَبْلُ الِلَّهِ إِلا طَيِّبًا ، وَلا يَصْعَدُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ إِلا طَيِّبٌ إِلا كَأَنَّمَا يَضَعُهَا فِي يَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، فَيُرَبِّيهَا لَهُ كَمَا يُرَبِّي أَحَدُكُمْ فَلُوَّهُ وَفَصِيلَهُ ، حَتَّى إِنَّ اللُّقْمَةَ أَوِ التَّمْرَةَ لَتَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مِثْلَ الْجَبَلِ الْعَظِيمِ " قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ رَضِيَ الِلَّهِ عَنْهُ : قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِلا كَأَنَّمَا يَضَعُهَا فِي يَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ " يُبَيِّنُ لَكَ أَنَّ هَذِهِ الأَخْبَارَ أُطْلِقَتْ بِأَلْفَاظِ التَّمْثِيلِ دُونَ وُجُودِ حَقَائِقِهَا ، أَوِ الْوُقُوفِ عَلَى كَيْفِيَّتِهَا ، إِذْ لَمْ يَتَهِيَأْ مَعْرِفَةُ الْمُخَاطَبِ بِهَذِهِ الأَشْيَاءِ إِلا بِالأَلْفَاظِ الَّتِي أُطْلِقَتْ بِهَا .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whenever a servant gives charity from lawful earnings—indeed, Allah Almighty accepts only what is lawful, and only what is lawful ascends towards the sky—then it happens that the Lord takes that charity in His hand, and then He begins to nurture it, just as a person raises and nurtures the offspring of his animal, until that morsel or that date, when they come on the Day of Resurrection, will be like a great mountain."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Exactly as if he placed it in the hand of the Most Merciful." This clarifies for you that in these narrations, the words of example are used; it is not intended that the reality of it exists or that its nature is known, because the addressee can only understand these things through the words to which their application is made.
