Hadith 260
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى بِالْمَوْصِلِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَحَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، أَنَّ حَفْصَ بْنَ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَلا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِصَلاةِ الْمُنَافِقِينَ ؟ يَدَعُ الْعَصْرَ حَتَّى كَانَتْ بَيْنَ قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ ، أَوْ عَلَى قَرْنَيِ الشَّيْطَانِ ، قَامَ فَنَقَرَ كَنَقَرَاتِ الدِّيكِ لا يَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ فِيهِنَّ إِلا قَلِيلا " .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the prayer of the hypocrites? He does not perform the Asr prayer until, when the sun is between the two horns of Satan (the narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words) or until it reaches the horn of Satan, then he pecks at it like a rooster. He remembers Allah very little in this prayer."
