Hadith 251
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ بْنُ فَرُّوخٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ ، عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، قَالَ : كَلِمَتَانِ سَمِعْتُ إِحْدَاهُمَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، وَالأُخْرَى أَنَا أَقُولُهَا ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " لا يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَبْدٌ يُشْرِكُ بِهِ إِلا أَدْخَلَهُ النَّارَ " ، وَأَنَا أَقُولُ : لا يَلْقَى اللَّهَ عَبْدٌ لَمْ يُشْرِكْ بِهِ إِلا أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: There are two statements, one of which I heard from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), and the other I say myself. I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever presents himself before Allah in such a state that he does not associate anyone with Allah, then Allah will admit him into Paradise."
