Hadith 197
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " أَسْلَمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ إِسْلامًا مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "In terms of Islam, the best Muslim among the Muslims is the one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims remain safe."
