Hadith 169
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ زُهِيَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيَمُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ ، وَحَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ ، وعبد العزيز بن رفيع ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ قَالَ : لا إِلَهَ إِلا اللَّهُ ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ " فَقُلْتُ : وَإِنْ زَنَى ، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ ؟ قَالَ : " وَإِنْ زَنَى ، وَإِنْ سَرَقَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites «لا اله الا اللہ» will enter Paradise." I asked: Even if he has committed adultery, even if he has stolen? The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Even if he has committed adultery, even if he has stolen.
