Hadith 150
أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَسَّانَ السَّامِيُّ بِالْبَصْرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ الْمَذْحِجِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَنْ يَدَعَ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمْ فَيَقُولُ : مَنْ خَلَقَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالأَرْضَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : الِلَّهِ ، فَيَقُولُ فَمَنْ خَلَقَكَ ؟ فَيَقُولُ : الِلَّهِ ، فَيَقُولُ : مَنْ خَلَقَ اللَّهَ ؟ فَحَسَّ أَحَدُكُمْ بِذَلِكَ ، فَلْيَقُلْ : آمَنَتُ بِاللَّهِ وَبِرُسُلِهِ " .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Satan will not desist from coming to a person and saying: Who created the heavens and the earth? The person will reply: Allah Almighty did. Then he will ask: Who created Allah Almighty?" (The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, says:) When a person faces such a situation, he should say: I believe in Allah and His messengers.
