Hadith 131
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ ، أَنْبَأَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنَّ عَطَاءَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ ذَرَارِيِّ الْمُشْرِكِينَ ، فَقَالَ : " الِلَّهِ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانُوا عَامِلِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the children of polytheists who die in childhood. He replied: "Allah knows best what they would have done."
