ذكر الإخبار عما يجب على المرء من تعلم كتاب الله جل وعلا واتباع ما فيه عند وقوع الفتن خاصة-
Obligation to learn the Book of Allah and follow it, especially during tribulations
Hadith 117
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، هَلْ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْخَيْرِ الَّذِي نَحْنُ فِيهِ مِنْ شَرٍّ نَحْذَرُهُ ؟ قَالَ : " يَا حُذَيْفَةُ عَلَيْكَ بِكِتَابِ اللَّهِ فَتَعَلَّمْهُ ، وَاتَّبِعْ مَا فِيهِ خَيْرًا لَكَ " .
Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! The goodness upon which we are now, will there come after it any evil from which we should beware?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Hudhayfah! It is obligatory upon you to adhere to the Book of Allah." Acquire its knowledge and follow the goodness that is in it for you.
