Hadith 100
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: "Are you not amazed at Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him)? He comes and sits on one side of my chamber and starts narrating the Ahadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He narrates these things to me while I am engaged in offering voluntary prayers, and before I complete my prayers, he finishes narrating the Ahadith and leaves. If I had met him, I would have stopped him, because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not converse in such haste as you people do."
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) Sayyidah Aisha's (may Allah be pleased with her) statement, "I would have stopped him," means she would have stopped him from narrating so quickly, not from narrating altogether.
