Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said:
“The night I was taken on the Night Journey, I met Sayyiduna Musa, peace be upon him. He was a man whose hair was not curly. It seemed as if he belonged to the tribe of Shanu’ah (that is, he was a tall man). I met Sayyiduna ‘Isa, peace be upon him, and he was a man of reddish complexion, as if he had just come out of a bathhouse (that is, his body and hair appeared wet). I saw Sayyiduna Ibrahim, peace be upon him, and among his descendants, I resemble him the most. Two vessels were brought to me, one containing wine and the other milk. I was told: Drink from whichever you wish. I chose the milk, and it was said to me: You have been guided to your natural disposition. If you had chosen the wine, your Ummah would have gone astray.”
