Hadith 29
أَخْبَرَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّخْتِيَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ حَدَّثَ حَدِيثًا ، وَهُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهُ كَذِبٌ ، فَهُوَ أَحَدُ الْكَاذْبِينَ " .
Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
"Whoever relates something and knows that it is a lie, then he is also among the liars."
"Whoever relates something and knows that it is a lie, then he is also among the liars."
