Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A Bedouin came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in the mosque while he was sitting. He said: O Allah! Forgive me and Muhammad (peace be upon him), and do not forgive anyone else along with us. The narrator states, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) laughed and said: You have made something vast into something narrow. Then the Bedouin turned and went back. When he reached the edge of the mosque, he stopped with the intention of urinating. After becoming a Muslim, that Bedouin narrated this incident: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to me, he did not scold me, he only said: This mosque has been built for the remembrance of Allah and for performing prayers. One should not urinate in it. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) called for a bucket of water and poured it over that spot.
