Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates: A man came to the service of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and mentioned the tribe of Daws, saying: These people—then he mentioned their men and women—that (they are not accepting Islam). So the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, raised both his hands, and that man said: Surely, we belong to Allah, and surely to Him we shall return. By the Lord of the Ka'bah! Daws has been destroyed. The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, raised both his hands and supplicated: "O Allah! Grant guidance to the tribe of Daws."
