Hadith 964

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ الصُّوفِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَصْرٍ التَّمَّارُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَصْبَحَ : " اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا ، وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا ، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا ، وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ ، وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite this in the morning: "O Allah! With Your help we have reached the morning, with Your help we reach the evening, with Your help we live and with Your help we die, and to You is the return."
