أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، بِالْفُسْطَاطِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُحْرِزٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ مِسْعَرِ بْنِ كِدَامٍ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلاقَةَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، قَالَ : كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " اللَّهُمَّ جَنِّبْنِي مُنْكَرَاتِ الأَخْلاقِ ، وَالأَهْوَاءِ ، وَالأَسْوَاءِ ، وَالأَدْوَاءِ " .
Ziyad bin Alaqah narrates from his uncle (Sayyiduna Qutbah bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: "O Allah! Remove from me disliked manners, desires of the self, bad habits, and diseases."
