Hadith 829

أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ بِمَنْبَجٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " مَنْ قَالَ : سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ ، فِي يَوْمٍ مِائَةَ مَرَّةٍ ، حُطَّتْ خَطَايَاهُ ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ مِثْلَ زَبَدِ الْبَحْرِ " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Whoever recites «سبحان اللہ و بحمدہ» one hundred times daily, his sins are erased, even if they are as much as the foam of the sea."
