Hadith 788

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْجُشَمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " سُورَةٌ فِي الْقُرْآنِ ، ثَلاثُونَ آيَةً ، تَسْتَغْفِرُ لِصَاحِبِهَا حَتَّى يُغْفَرَ لَهُ تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ سورة الملك آية 1 " .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is a surah in the Qur'an which has thirty verses. It will continue to seek forgiveness for the one who recites it until that person is forgiven. (That surah is) «تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ»."
