أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْمُثَنَّى ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَزْرَقُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ أَبُو جَهْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ سَنَامًا ، وَإِنَّ سَنَامَ الْقُرْآنِ سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ ، مَنْ قَرَأَهَا فِي بَيْتِهِ لَيْلا لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْتَهُ ثَلاثَ لَيَالٍ ، وَمَنْ قَرَأَهَا نَهَارًا لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْتَهُ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " . قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : قَوْلُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَمْ يَدْخُلِ الشَّيْطَانُ بَيْتَهُ ثَلاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ " أَرَادَ بِهِ مَرَدَةَ الشَّيَاطِينِ دُونَ غَيْرِهِمْ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Everything has a pinnacle, and the pinnacle of the Qur’an is Surah Al-Baqarah. Whoever recites it at night, Satan will not enter his house for three nights, and whoever recites it during the day, Satan will not enter his house for three days.”
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), “Satan does not enter that house for three days,” refers to the rebellious devils. Other devils are not meant here.
