ذكر الزجر عن مجادلة الناس في كتاب الله مع الأمر بمجانبة من يفعل ذلك-Warning against arguing about the Book of Allah and the command to avoid such people.
Hadith 76

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمُ بْنُ النَّضْرِ الأَحْوَلُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَيُّوبَ ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : قَرَأَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ : هُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ مِنْهُ آيَاتٌ مُحْكَمَاتٌ هُنَّ أُمُّ الْكِتَابِ وَأُخَرُ مُتَشَابِهَاتٌ سورة آل عمران آية 7 إِلَى قَوْلِهِ أُولُو الأَلْبَابِ سورة البقرة آية 269 ، قَالَتْ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الِلَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " رَأَيْتُمُ الَّذِينَ يُجَادِلُونَ فِيهِ فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ عَنَى الِلَّهِ ، فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ " ، قَالَ مَطَرٌ : حَفِظْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لا تُجَالِسُوهُمْ فَهُمُ الَّذِينَ عَنَى الِلَّهِ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ " ، قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : سَمِعَ هَذَا الْخَبَرَ أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ ، وَابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ جَمِيعًا .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) recited this verse:
“He it is Who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses that are clear and precise, they are the foundation of the Book, and others are ambiguous.”
(This verse is up to:) “Those who are firmly grounded in knowledge...”
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“When you see those who argue about it, they are the ones Allah has referred to, so beware of them.”
The narrator named Matar says: I remember this, and in the narration, these words are also present:
“Do not sit with those people, for they are the ones Allah has referred to, so beware of them.”
Imam Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) says: Ayub heard this narration from both Matar Waraq and Ibn Abu Mulaykah.
“He it is Who has sent down to you the Book; in it are verses that are clear and precise, they are the foundation of the Book, and others are ambiguous.”
