Hadith 7453

أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بِبُسْتٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ حُرَيْثٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ ، عَنْ مَطَرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عِيَاضِ بْنِ حِمَارٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ ثَلاثَةٌ : ذُو سُلْطَانٍ مُقْسِطٌ مُوَفَّقٌ ، وَرَجُلٌ رَحِيمٌ رَقِيقُ الْقَلْبِ بِكُلِّ ذِي قُرْبَى وَمُسْلِمٍ ، وَرَجُلٌ فَقِيرٌ عَفِيفٌ مُتَصَدِّقٌ " .
Sayyiduna Iyad bin Himar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will be of three types. A ruler who is just and has been granted success, a person who is merciful and soft-hearted, who does good to every relative and Muslim, and a person who is poor, avoids begging, and gives charity and alms.
