Hadith 7451

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُشْكَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا وَرْقَاءُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنَادِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْرَجُ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ أَحَدٌ ، إِلا أُرِيَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ لَوْ أَسَاءَ لِيَزْدَادَ شُكْرًا ، وَلا يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ ، إِلا أُرِيَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ لَوْ أَحْسَنَ لِيَكُونَ عَلَيْهِ حَسْرَةً " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever enters Paradise will be shown his place in Hell, that if he had done evil (he would have received this place), so that his gratitude may increase. And whoever enters Hell will be shown his place in Paradise, that if he had done good (he would have received this place), so that he may feel regret."
