Hadith 7450

أَخْبَرَنَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الأَشْعَثَ السِّجِسْتَانِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ خَشْرَمٍ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يُؤْتَى بِالْمَوْتِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، فَيُوقَفُ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ ، فَيُقَالُ : يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ ، فَيَنْطَلِقُونَ خَائِفِينَ وَجِلِينَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْ مَكَانِهِمُ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ : يَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ ، فَيَنْطَلِقُونَ فَرِحِينَ مُسْتَبْشِرِينَ أَنْ يَخْرُجُوا مِنْ مَكَانِهِمُ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ ، فَيُقَالُ : هَلْ تَعْرِفُونَ هَذَا ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ : نَعَمْ رَبَّنَا ، هَذَا الْمَوْتُ ، فَيَأْمُرُ بِهِ فَيُذْبَحُ عَلَى الصِّرَاطِ ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ لِلْفَرِيقَيْنِ كِلاهُمَا : خُلُودٌ وَلا مَوْتَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا " .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, death will be brought and placed on the Bridge of Sirat, and it will be announced: O people of Paradise! So they will come, fearful and anxious, walking and coming out from their places where they reside. Then it will be announced: O people of Hell! So they will come out from their places where they reside, rejoicing and receiving glad tidings. Then it will be asked: Do you recognize this? They will say: Yes, O our Lord! This is death. Then the Lord will command regarding it, and it will be slaughtered on the Bridge of Sirat. Then it will be said to both groups: You will remain here forever; death will never come to you in it."
