Hadith 7439

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْخَلالُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا أُدْخِلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ ، قَالَ اللَّهُ : أَتَشْتَهُونَ شَيْئًا فَأَزِيدَكُمْ ؟ فَيَقُولُونَ : رَبَّنَا ، وَمَا فَوْقَ مَا أَعْطَيْتَنَا ؟ قَالَ : فَيَقُولُ : بَلَى ، رِضَايَ أَكْثَرُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the people of Paradise will enter Paradise, Allah Almighty will say: 'Do you desire anything more so that I may grant you more?' They will say, 'O our Lord! What could be above what You have already given us?' The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then the Lord will say: 'Yes! My pleasure is superior to everything.'"
